How can I keep Control Panel from opening every time I resume my Dell laptop from Standby mode? I am a traveling teacher and I open and close my laptop several times all day long and every time I resume from Standby mode, the Control Panel box pops up. I know it's not that big of a deal, but for some reason it drives me crazy! I've looked through all the Power Options and haven't found anything that will allow me to change that setting. Any ideas?

I just purchased Dell Laptop. Did i get a good deal? Please don't answer this question unless you know somthing about computers. I just bought a Dell D600 Latitude Laptop off ebay. It's refurbished. It has 1.6 GHz processor speed. 1.024 GB of memory and 80GB hard drive capacity. The video card is AT: Radeon 9000,32 mb video I spent a total of $415. It has some cosmetic wear. Overall it runs fine. Did I get a good deal or did I get robbed? I don't know that much about buying computers ( I only know how to use them). Thanks !

Could I play the Sims 2 and the Sims 2 University on a Dell latitude c610 laptop? I have not purchased it yet, but found one for a reasonable price and was wondering if it was a good deal. Question about DELL laptop... Here's the deal... I recently sent my Dell laptop back to Dell to be repaired because the computer no longer held a charge and we believed the DC port which the AC adapter connects into, had disconnected from the motherboard. The Dell representative told us that to replace the motherboard would cost $500. So, we sent in the laptop. We got it back today to find that they completely changed out the screen and top of the laptop (which I had JUST applied a new Dell laptop protective "sticker" to). Why would they have done this and STILL charged us $500 to our account?? Does the display screen have ANYTHING to do with the DC port working correctly??? So confused.
